And this is a great idea - video can be a compelling addition and can pull in a crowd and increase audience engagement in your booth. There are some low-cost options for video - the one that suits your enterprise best will depend on the type of display you have and how you want to use the video.
One way to add a video monitor to your trade show display is to put the monitor directly on your display. If your enterprise has a modular display, like a truss, this is easy. You can ordinarily buy a monitor mount and attachment system from your seller and install the monitor directly on the trade show display. Another video monitor solution is a pole mounted monitor that is isolate from your trade show display. This allows you flexibility on where you want to place the monitor - sometimes it may be better right next to your display, sometimes farther out - closer to the traffic aisle. It of course depends how you want to use it. If the video article is "lightweight" or marketing oriented, you may want the monitor closer to the aisle to stop traffic at the booth where you can engage them. If the article is more technical, you may want the monitor inside the booth, after you've been able to qualify and position the video for prospects.
Yet a distinct choice for a video monitor involves a workstation kiosk - essentially a podium and a pole - that allows your enterprise to have a keyboard/mouse and monitor set up. This is a great arrangement if you want to do product demos or have audience interaction - you or the audience member can "drive" the application from the podium. And the workstation kiosk is also a flexible set up - you can put it where you need it to go in the trade show booth.

The title Pool Tournament Eve above would be more precise if it said day instead of eve. As I type this article, 4:36 in the morning, March 1, 2008, I should be sleeping.
Tomorrow is the annual Dr Cue Tournament here in Pueblo Colorado. Billiards is pretty beloved here in Pueblo. This tournament is the largest held here. Players come from all over the State of Colorado and sometimes a few other states. We have 2 Bca (Billiards Congress of America) National Champions residing here in Pueblo along with many other players who shoot lights out.
Dr. Cue (Tom Rossman) puts on a trick shot exhibition the night before the tournament. I attended this show last night where I payed my entry fee of and watched Tom put on a great show as usual.
The pool hall where this tournament is played is about 15 minutes from my house. I made it home by 10:30 Pm and finally fell asleep nearby 11:30. Right on nice job. Get some rest before the tournament. Not.
My eyes popped open nearby five till two and I have not been able to get back to sleep. Thursday night wasn't much better because I only slept about 4 hours. I am hoping that writing this post gets me tired.
I will be bringing my lap top to this tournament and plan to description on the event between my matches. I will also be bringing my video camera which is also a pretty cool digital camera. This should make for some cool reporting and hopefully some tantalizing and tantalizing content.
Between a join of brain freeze attacks and and watching some billiards on my Dvr other half hour has gone by. It is now 5 in the morning and I must be gift in the pool hall by 10:00 Am. Ouch. Don't they know that pool players are not early risers by nature?
Well maybe my plan is working. I just experienced a yawning attack. I think I will endeavor to get about 3 or 4 more hours sleep time in before the big Dr Cue Pool Tournament today.
